eConsults Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

eConsults by Asian Hospital is a new service which aims to provide remote doctor consultations in the comfort of your home while keeping you safe in the new normal. For phone inquiries, please call us at 8771-9000 locals 8456 or 8457.

eConsults may be availed by private paying patients who are NOT requiring urgent medical care.

eConsults easy registration steps can be viewed through our eConsults page or through this Youtube video.

eConsults physicians and their respective schedules may be viewed at our official website’s eConsults page.

eConsults are available from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

eConsults are scheduled at least 24 hours after payment confirmation from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Your confirmed schedule will be sent to your email.

eConsults are best experienced using a smartphone but you may also use computers with camera or tablets that have a microphone enabled.

eConsults sessions are best experienced when having a dedicated internet connection of at least 5 Mbps.

eConsults physicians may ask to do few physical movements so it would be best to be in a spacious and well-lit area during the session.

eConsults sessions last for approximately 15 to 20 minutes depending on your consultation type.

eConsults fee starts at Php 1,200.00 for private paying patients.

eConsults payments can be made through the integrated payment gateway by AsiaPay. This online payment gateway accepts Visa or Mastercard debit and credit accounts.

You may also use your Paymaya virtual cards (Visa) to pay for your eConsults session.

eConsults vs. Emergency Consultation

The following conditions do NOT qualify for eConsults. Patients with the following symptoms are advised to seek consult at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center Emergency Department.


  • Wheezing, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Choking
  • Severe chest pain or chest pressure
  • Coughing or vomiting blood
  • Bleeding that cannot be stopped; deep wound
  • Intense localized abdominal pain
  • Displaced or open wound fractures
  • Severe burn
  • Electric shock
  • Severe pain anywhere on the body
  • Severe allergic reaction with trouble breathing, swelling, hives
  • Fever with convulsions
  • Seizures
  • Fainting or dizziness
  • Sudden numbness or weakness; Suddenly not able to speak, see, walk, or move
  • Confusion or changes in mental status
  • Severe headache or head injury; Injury to neck or spine, particularly if there is loss of feeling or inability to move
  • Poisoning or overdose of drug or alcohol
  • Vaginal bleeding with pregnancy
